Introduction

Shangri-La Tiger Leaping Gorge Tourism Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company) in Diqing Prefecture was established on November 11, 2008 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Diqing Prefecture Tourism (Group) Co., Ltd. As of July 2019, it had a registered capital of RMB 55 million and total assets of RMB 834 million.

The Company consists of 14 departments, namely the General Manager's Office, Administration-Party-Mass Department, Planning and Accounting Department, Human Resources Department, Marketing and Planning Department, Quality Management Department, Tourist Service Department, Safe Production Department, Business Expansion Department, Environmental Protection Department, Escalator Management Department, Project Engineering Department, Baishuitai Business Department, and Consulting Center. As of July 2019, it had 116 employees, including 115 contracted and 1 employed as retiree.

The Company focuses on the management and tourism services of scenic areas, with diverse attraction products and rich contents. Concentrating such natural scenic spots as snow-covered mountains, gorge, rivers, and Huaquan platform, it is based in the hinterland of the Parallel Three-River Natural Heritage with unique advantage of resources. At present, the Company mainly manages such tourism services as the scenic areas of Tiger Leaping Gorge and Baishuitai as well as Shangri-La No. 1 Drifting.
