The water source of Baishuitai's natural wonders has been regarded as the holy spring by Naxi people for generations. According to Dongba ancient books, the holy spring is inhabited by the God "agency" which is in charge of nature. Therefore, people from far and near often come here for sacrifice to pray for blessing and disaster relief.
