After the upgrades and renovations, the scenic area has been completely transformed. The automatic escalator project at Tiger Leaping Gorge has been completed, connecting the 1800-meter Jinsha River surface directly to the visitor distribution square, with a capacity of 6000 people per hour, providing tourists with a fast and comfortable sightseeing service. The scenic area's IP image, created with elements of tiger culture, will soon be unveiled, offering visitors a variety of rich IP cultural and creative products to enhance their experience.

On May 1st, Tiger Leaping Gorge makes a strong return!
In order to provide visitors with the ultimate scenic experience and enrich their travel experience, from November 1, 2020, to the end of April 2021, the Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic area underwent more than six months of closed upgrades and renovations. The first phase has been basically completed, with significant improvements in transportation infrastructure, making it more convenient and smoother. The installation of the Tiger Leaping Gorge escalator project has greatly enhanced the scenic area's infrastructure, providing a direct connection from the 1800-meter Jinsha River surface to the visitor distribution square, with a transport capacity of 6000 people per hour. According to the news from Wenlv Toutiao (media reporter Tian Weixing, text/pictures), on April 27, the reporter learned from the Shangri-La Huxiujia Tourism Management Co., Ltd. in Diqing Prefecture that the Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic area will officially open to the public at 8:00 AM on May 1, 2021, welcoming tourists from both inside and outside the province.
