On this wonderful holiday, we welcome the opening of the Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Area in Shangri-La, and successfully held the "Tiger Leaping Gorge Escalator Operation Ceremony and IP Image Launch Conference." The main guests attending this event include Chen Zhen, the Party Committee Organization Committee Member of the People's Government of Tiger Leaping Gorge Town in Shangri-La City, Zhuang Zhiping, the Deputy General Manager of Diqing Tourism Group Co., Ltd., and Jiang Chu, the General Manager of the Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Area, along with Deputy General Managers You Hongliang, He Liang, and Jiang Yong.

Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Area reopens on May 1, diverse activities await you.

After the upgrades and renovations, the scenic area has been completely transformed. The automatic escalator project at Tiger Leaping Gorge has been completed, connecting the 1800-meter Jinsha River surface directly to the visitor distribution square, with a capacity of 6000 people per hour, providing tourists with a fast and comfortable sightseeing service. The scenic area's IP image, created with elements of tiger culture, will soon be unveiled, offering visitors a variety of rich IP cultural and creative products to enhance their experience.

On May 1st, Tiger Leaping Gorge makes a strong return!

In order to provide visitors with the ultimate scenic experience and enrich their travel experience, from November 1, 2020, to the end of April 2021, the Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic area underwent more than six months of closed upgrades and renovations. The first phase has been basically completed, with significant improvements in transportation infrastructure, making it more convenient and smoother. The installation of the Tiger Leaping Gorge escalator project has greatly enhanced the scenic area's infrastructure, providing a direct connection from the 1800-meter Jinsha River surface to the visitor distribution square, with a transport capacity of 6000 people per hour. This offers visitors a quick, convenient, safe, and comfortable touring service, allowing elderly, weak, and young visitors to also witness the "majestic grandeur" of Tiger Leaping Gorge. An IP image of the scenic area has been created with elements of tiger culture, which will provide a rich array of IP cultural and creative products, significantly enhancing the visitor experience.

The Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic area in Shangri-La will reopen on May 1.

According to the news from Wenlv Toutiao (media reporter Tian Weixing, text/pictures), on April 27, the reporter learned from the Shangri-La Huxiujia Tourism Management Co., Ltd. in Diqing Prefecture that the Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic area will officially open to the public at 8:00 AM on May 1, 2021, welcoming tourists from both inside and outside the province.
