Notice

The flow of individual visitors to the Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic area has surged, resulting in a significant increase in the time cost for tourists to enter the scenic area for sightseeing. In light of this, the company has decided to implement measures to ensure safe tourism reception and epidemic prevention work from October 4th to October 7th. During peak visitor flow periods (10:00--16:00), when the instantaneous visitor flow reaches its highest peak, we will unconditionally take measures to limit the flow and advise visitors to return in a staggered manner. Staff will be stationed at the entrance of the scenic area to manage the flow, and we ask for your understanding, support, and active cooperation. Additionally, due to the limited parking spaces in the scenic area, visitors entering the scenic area will need to queue for about 1 hour at the visitor center. We kindly ask all travel agencies and tourists to arrange their itineraries to avoid peak times. Thank you for your cooperation with the scenic area reception work. Thank you!

Notice on Time-limited Access Restrictions for Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Area

Travel agencies and dear tourists:

During the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday in 2020, the number of individual visitors to the Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Area operated by Diqing Prefecture Shangri-La Tiger Leaping Gorge Tourism Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the 'Company') has surged, resulting in a significant increase in the time cost for tourists to enter the scenic area. In light of this, the Company has decided to implement time-limited access restrictions without conditions during the peak visitor flow periods (10:00--16:00) from October 4 to October 7, when the instantaneous visitor flow reaches its peak. Staff will be stationed at the entrance of the scenic area to manage access, and we ask for your understanding, support, and active cooperation. Additionally, due to the limited parking spaces in the scenic area, visitors entering the area will need to queue for about 1 hour at the visitor center.
