Notice: The expansion and reconstruction of Huxiang Highway is a key livelihood project in Diqing Prefecture. Its significance lies in comprehensively improving the road traffic environment within the prefecture, supporting social and economic development, aiding poverty alleviation, and promoting social harmony and stability. Since the Huxiang Line runs through the Huxiang Scenic Area of Shangri-La, Diqing Prefecture (hereinafter referred to as: the Company), it is also the only access to the Huxiang Scenic Area. The construction of the project has brought traffic safety hazards and other inconveniences to the normal operation of the Company’s scenic area. To ensure the progress of the project and the safety of tourists, the Company will close the scenic area for six months (from November 1, 2020, to April 30, 2021) in accordance with the spirit of the 61st executive meeting of the 13th Diqing Prefecture People’s Government.
