As China continues to expand its opening-up and refine its visa-free policies, an increasing number of foreign tourists are setting foot on Chinese soil, immersing themselves in the country’s culture and way of life. In March, the spring breeze blows toward Baishui. On March 26, the third “Chao Baishui” Dongba Cultural Tourism Event—the “Shangri-La of the World”—officially kicked off. In the morning, immersive pilgrimages and prayers, Naxi-style outdoor picnics, a Dongba cultural and creative market, and a themed photography exhibition all opened simultaneously, allowing visitors to savor the unique charm of Naxi culture amidst the breathtaking scenery of the Baishuitai Plateau.
