June 2009

The Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic area in Shangri-La has been rated as a national AAAA-level scenic area by the National Tourism Administration.

December 2009 - January 2011

The Shangri-La Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic area has been closed for 14 months, undergoing upgrades and renovations according to the construction requirements of a 5A-level scenic area. The infrastructure and service functions of the scenic area have been improved, with an annual reception capacity exceeding 1 million visitors.

2011

Increase investment in marketing and promotion of scenic spots to enhance their visibility and further standardize internal management. Received honors such as "Micro School: The 6th Favorite Travel Destination for Chinese Youth - Scenic Spots Satisfying Youth," "2011 Advanced Scenic Spot in the Diqing Prefecture Tourism Industry," and "2011 Advanced Collective in Promoting the Development of Diqing's Tourism Industry."

2012

This is a period for the company to consolidate its achievements and stabilize its foundation, achieving good results in various aspects such as management and facility construction. On October 3rd, the daily reception volume of the Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic area exceeded ten thousand for the first time. It has received honors such as "2012 China's Most Popular Emerging Scenic Area among Netizens," "2012 Advanced Grassroots Party Organization for Excellence," "2012 Excellent Member Unit of Yunnan Scenic Area Association," and "2012 Advanced Enterprise."

2013

The earthquakes on August 28 and August 31 caused serious damage to the parking lot of the Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic area, forcing the area to close for 37 days for repairs and construction. On November 24, construction began on the Songyuan Bridge Welcome Square project. It was awarded the honorary title of "Advanced Unit in Tourism Work in 2013."

2014

Affected by the new "Tourism Law" and government policies, tourism in Diqing has also been impacted. However, the company relies on the belief in unity and hard work; with innovative work thinking, keen market insight, and calm responses, it has achieved a double harvest in operations and management.

The Songyuan Bridge Welcome Square project has passed acceptance and will be put into operation on December 24.

The Shangri-La No. 1 rafting project has commenced construction.

2015

The total number of visitors received by the company throughout the year reached 1.553 million, a year-on-year increase of 27.37%, setting a new historical record. Further improve the institutional construction, strengthen the implementation of the system, and achieve performance-based evaluation for all employees.

March 2016

The construction project for the basic infrastructure of the Baishuitai Scenic Area tourism services has successfully commenced.

April 2016

According to the personnel adjustments of the group company, the company's management team has been restructured, with Comrade Jiang Chu serving as the new party branch secretary and general manager.

Tencent News - Fact-based media and other news outlets broadcasted "Yunnan Tiger Leaping Gorge 'Super Flash Flood'", attracting a surge of tourists. The daily reception exceeded 10,000 for 33 days (30 days in 2015), with more than 14,000 visitors in 8 days, reaching 15,194 on August 11, once again breaking the daily reception record.

December 6, 2016

The provincial and state quality supervision bureaus have established the company as a provincial-level pilot for tourism service standardization, with a project execution time of 2 years.

April 1, 2017

Shangri-La No. 1 Drift officially commenced operations.

July and August 2017

Continuous rainfall caused the collapse of the East Ring Road (K7+800md and other sections), interrupting the scenic area road, which was forced to close for 23 days.

2018

The provincial tourism service standardization pilot project of the company passed the acceptance with high scores. According to the deployment requirements of the group company's internal control management system construction work, the company actively carried out internal control construction work.

April 5, 2018

The company's escalator project has officially commenced construction.

June 18, 2019

The construction project of basic tourism service infrastructure at the Baishuitai Scenic Area has passed the acceptance inspection.
