According to the news from Wenlv Toutiao (media reporter Tian Weixing, text/pictures), on April 27, the reporter learned from the Shangri-La Huxiujia Tourism Management Co., Ltd. in Diqing Prefecture that the Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic area will officially open to the public at 8:00 AM on May 1, 2021, welcoming tourists from both inside and outside the province.

According to Wenlv Headlines (Multimedia Reporter Tian Weixing, Text/Photo), Tiger Leaping Gorge is located in the southeastern part of Shangri-La City, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is one of the deepest gorges in China, divided into three sections: Upper Tiger Leaping, Middle Tiger Leaping, and Lower Tiger Leaping.

Deqin County is located in the middle section of the Hengduan Mountains in the northwest of Yunnan Province, at the junction of the three provinces (regions) of Yunnan, Sichuan, and Tibet on the southern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is in the heart of the "Three Rivers (Nu River, Lancang River, Jinsha River)" area, with a total area of 7,273 square kilometers. The average elevation in the county is 4,270.2 meters.
