Shangri-La Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Area Time-limited Traffic Control Notice: To all travel agencies and dear tourists: In order to ensure the tourism reception work during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday in 2020, the Shangri-La Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Area will implement time-limited traffic control measures unconditionally when the peak visitor reception reaches its peak during daily peak hours (9:30-15:00) for the safety of tourism reception and epidemic prevention. At that time, staff will be stationed at the entrance of the scenic area to block and limit access. The high-altitude hiking trail in the Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic area of Shangri-La has reopened.

The Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Area in Shangri-La is "one of the top ten most beautiful gorges in China." It is located in the southeast of Shangri-La City, Diqing Prefecture, Yunnan Province, right next to National Highway 214, 98 kilometers from the urban area of Shangri-La and 60 kilometers from Lijiang. It is a famous natural scenic area for rapid gorge adventure.
