On the afternoon of July 3 at 17:30, Associate Professor Shi Haili from the Diqing Prefectural Party School gave a special party class titled "Leading a New Round of Leapfrog Development in Diqing with Original Intention and Mission" to all party members of Diqing Prefecture Shangri-La Tiger Leaping Gorge Tourism Management Co., Ltd., allowing all party members to revisit history, receive education, not forget their original intention, remember their mission, and gather spiritual strength.
Teacher Shi Haili began the lecture that day by discussing what the original intention of the Communist Party of China is. What is the original intention? The "Cihai" defines "original intention" as the goal, oath, or commitment at the start. The 19th National Congress of the Party incorporated "not forgetting the original intention, remembering the mission" into the theme of the conference, and the report clearly stated: "Not forgetting the original intention, one can achieve the end. The original intention and mission of the Communists of China is to seek happiness for the Chinese people and rejuvenation for the Chinese nation. This original intention and mission is the fundamental driving force that motivates the Communists of China to keep moving forward." According to the central deployment, the whole party will also carry out thematic education on "not forgetting the original intention, remembering the mission". "Not forgetting the original intention" is not only an important theme in current political life but also an eternal theme for the Communists of China. Not forgetting the original intention and correctly understanding the original intention will undoubtedly provide us with strong spiritual strength and have significant and far-reaching implications.
Secondly, from remembering the mission and taking responsibility, it explained the practical inspiration of Diqing's 60 years of leapfrog development. Since the establishment of the state, for a long time, "Diqing" once became synonymous with poverty in Yunnan Province. Faced with unique natural resources, people were once in the dilemma of "difficult to see the mountains, troubled by the water". With the tide of national development, they passively chose "wooden finance", falling into a vicious cycle of becoming poorer by cutting more and cutting more by becoming poorer. However, after 60 years of leapfrog development, the economic and social situation of Diqing Prefecture has undergone tremendous changes, achieving historic leaps, presenting a situation of economic and social development, social harmony and stability, national unity, religious harmony and order, political clarity, and people's well-being.
Remembering the original intention and mission of Communists General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that history is the best textbook. For the Communists of China, the history of the Chinese revolution is the best nutrient, and the party history is the foundation and bloodline of the party's governance and prosperity.
