Diqing Prefecture Shangri-La Tiger Leaping Gorge Tourism Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as: the Company) aims to firmly establish the safety production work policy of "safety first, prevention as the main focus, and comprehensive management". This is to enhance the safety awareness of the company's management personnel and employees, improve their emergency response speed and emergency handling capabilities in the event of sudden incidents, better protect the life and property safety of tourists and villagers, and ensure the safety of the scenic area. On June 12, 2019, the company, in conjunction with the Tiger Leaping Gorge Town Government, the Diqing Shangri-La Economic Development Zone Comprehensive Emergency Rescue Team, and the Shangri-La City Traffic Police Brigade Tiger Leaping Gorge Squadron, carried out this "Safety Production Journey" emergency drill activity.

"Safety Production Thousand Miles" Emergency Drill
Diqing Prefecture Shangri-La Tiger Leaping Gorge Tourism Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as: the Company) aims to firmly establish the safety production work policy of "safety first, prevention first, comprehensive management", enhance the safety awareness of the company's management personnel and employees, improve their emergency response speed and emergency handling ability in the event of sudden incidents, better protect the life and property safety of tourists and villagers, and ensure the safety of the scenic area, onJune 12, 2019, the companyjointly carried out this "Safety Production Thousand Miles" emergency drill activity with the Tiger Leaping Gorge Town Government, Diqing Shangri-La Economic Development Zone Comprehensive Emergency Rescue Team, and the Tiger Leaping Gorge Squadron of the Shangri-La City Traffic Police Brigade.
At the launch ceremony, Yang Hua, the deputy mayor of Tiger Leaping Gorge Town, emphasized the importance of conducting the "Emergency Rescue Drill" activity, striving to create an atmosphere, momentum, and effectiveness for this event, with multi-party collaboration, multiple measures, and joint management to ensure the safety work of the Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic area.

According to the company's "Emergency Drill Disposal Plan", the project for this drill is an emergency rescue drill for a vehicle falling off a cliff, with specific content: a tourist vehicle is proposed to have an accident at K6+500M section of the Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic area road, resulting in injuries to two tourists in the vehicle, one of whom is trapped in the vehicle and unable to move, while the other tourist is slightly injured. After receiving a call from the company's traffic support team, participating departments such as traffic police, fire department, medical team, and on-site rescue team quickly arrived at the scene and carried out rescue work in an orderly manner according to their respective responsibilities, assisting the injured, maintaining traffic order, directing traffic, implementing temporary traffic control, and conducting on-site investigation and evidence collection.

Through everyone's joint efforts, the trapped passengers were successfully rescued, traffic was restored, and the emergency rescue drill task for the vehicle falling off a cliff was successfully completed.

After the drill, in order to further enhance employees' safety awareness and master first aid knowledge, the staff of the scenic area's medical office carefully explained the basic processes and steps of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and demonstrated the key points of operation through performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation on a "manikin", including judging whether the person has lost consciousness, whether there is spontaneous breathing, whether there is a pulse, and performing chest compressions. At the same time, trainees were allowed to practice on-site and were reminded of the key points and precautions.

Through this drill and on-site training, the trainees successfully completed the process of emergency rescue and first aid knowledge from "theory" to "practice", enhancing employees' ability to handle sudden accidents, fundamentally improving the safety rescue awareness of a wide range of employees, and laying a solid foundation for further improving the safety work of the scenic area and creating a safe scenic area.
